Do you ever find yourself, let's say when driving, so deep in worry and obsessive thoughts that when you come to you have no idea how you got to your destination? Or how bout in the shower, maybe cooking, or simply just trying to enjoy a quiet movie but instead your infested with the "what ifs" or "whys" of life's choices or circumstances? Well, your not alone!!


Here's a quick and simple way to literally "snap yourself out of it"! A rubber band! Simply place it around your wrist and every time you get into this obsessive or negative thinking, smack your wrist with the rubber band! It may hurt a bit but not as much as the mental pain we put ourselves through getting stuck in our the thoughts and woes of our minds in distress. A quick and sudden "Snap!" of the band could easily bring us back to reality, our moments of living were missing in the trance of the obsession. It may even lead to some happier thoughts or possibly even a solution, as we can never get to that just swimming around in the same obsessive woes and worries that got us there in the first place. So give it a shot, what have you got to lose? According to the video, only two seconds!!! This is also a great tool to snap out of some anxiety feelings or even panic attacks before they start; if you can snap it before and maybe follow it with some affirmations instead.
